School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.

- Excursions and Incursions including Leadership and Peer Support

- Fundraising, Charity and Community including Father's Day Breakfast BBQ, Christmas Carols and Picnic Dinner
- Award Assemblies
- Competitions such as ICAS, Public Speaking and Spelling Bee
- Presentation Evening, Year 6 Farewell.

Public Education Week Open Day
Date: Thursday 6 August 2026 at 11.45am - 2.00pm
Join us for open classrooms, lunch and a writing expo.
School Tour
Date: Wednesday 12 August 2026 at 9.30am
Join us for a guided walking tour of our school with our principal.
Easter Hat Parade
Our Easter Hat Parade is a much-loved celebration here at Holgate Public School.
Annual P&C Trivia Night
Our Trivia Night is a wonderful opportunity to meet other parents and community members in a fun and relaxed environment. The event is held in Term 3 each year and is a huge success due to the tireless work by our P&C.
Rising Star Program
This program promotes and creates a positive school environment both in and out of the classroom and aims to teach all students to be Respectful, Responsible and Resilient. Students receive Rising Stars for positive behaviour and reward days are held each term.
Schools Clean Up Day
Each year we clean up our school grounds. It teaches our students to take responsibility for our environment.
Annual Harmony Day Celebration
Harmony Day honours and embraces the rich diversity within our community. We celebrate the unique traditions and stories that strengthen our school community and promote harmony for all.
Public Speaking Competition
Held annually and open to all year groups. Join us as we celebrate the power of words and the confidence of speakers!
Kindergarten Headstart Program
In Term 4 we offer our Kindergarten Headstart Program which is designed to ensure a confident and smooth transition into Kindergarten for your child in 2027.
